Who We Are

Created by City Council on October 20, 2021, The Department of Social Services and Housing was established to enhance the City's homeless outreach as part of the Reimagine Public Safety Initiative.

What We Do

Our mission is to develop equitable social services and affordable housing policies and programs to serve extremely low to low-income residents, including individuals experiencing housing in-security and homelessness.
