Military Equipment Community Meeting
In accordance with AB 481, the Davis Police Department will host a community meeting regarding “military equipment” that is authorized for use by the Davis City Council. There will be a brief presentation with time for questions and an opportunity for you to speak.
The meeting will be held at the Davis Police Department, 2600 5th Street, Davis, CA 95618 on May 4, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. To submit questions in advance, please email policeweb@cityofdavis.org. The Draft Policy is now available for review.
If you need assistance (on public or private property) for trash, garbage, encampments, abandoned carts or vehicles etc., then please report it to the City's service request portal. If you need assistance (on public or private property) with someone making you feel unsafe, is acting aggressively or blocking a doorway, etc., then please call 911 in an emergency or 530-747-5400 for a non-emergency.
