Batting Cages 

Currently CLOSED! 

The Playfields Park Batting Cages are CLOSED. Unfortunately, as repairs were being made to the netting, it was determined that a full net replacement was needed. A timeline for the repair process has not yet been established, however, we will provide updates as they become available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This web page is updated daily with current information. The batting cages are located behind Field 2 at Playfields Park. Tokens are $1 for 15 pitches and can be purchased from the onsite attendant during operating hours. Guests must bring their own bats and helmets. Helmets are required for all batters under the age of 16 years. Hours are subject to change due to inclement weather. (Inclement Weather – Weather conditions that are either unsafe or undesirable for outdoor events. i.e. consistent rain, extreme heat, field closures, etc.)

Hours of operation (subject to change) - Currently closed for the 2025 season:

• Monday - Closed
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 5:30-9:00 p.m.
• Friday - Closed
• Saturday & Sunday - 10:00-2:00 p.m.

Please Note: Hours are subject to change without advance notice. Batting Cages will be closed during inclement weather.

CURRENT REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bring your own bat and helmet with a protective face mask.
2. Children must be accompanied by an adult to help ensure safety and adherence to guidelines.
3. The City reserves the right to modify hours of operation and guidelines as circumstances change.

SPEEDS: 

• Cage 1: Slow Baseball & Slow Softball 
• Cage 2: Medium Baseball & Fast (45 mph) Softball 
• Cage 3: Medium/Fast Baseball & Slow Softball 
• Cage 4: Fast Baseball
