The Davis Children's Version of The Nutcracker
The 2020 production of The Davis Children's Version of the Nutcracker was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In lieu of the production, the City of Davis hosted several activities to honor this classic local tradition.
During December 2020 the City of Davis provided several activities “Celebrating the Spirit of Nutcracker.” Families and fans were able to participate in a variety of activities from the comfort of their homes as we celebrated what would have been the 44th annual production. Activities included:
- Nutcracker story time with Ann Smalley
- Grandmother’s Goody Bag Pick Up
- Viewing past performances on local channels
- Coloring Nutcrackers and other show characters
- Past cast and crew sharing show memories via video
