Fast-moving wildfires and catastrophic flooding remind us how important it is to receive emergency alerts. It takes just a few minutes to register and it may save your life. If you have a cell phone, please check within your settings to ensure the device is set up to receive emergency alerts. Additionally, signing up for www.alertyolo.org will enable you to receive important local public safety messages.
All public safety agencies in Yolo County have partnered to have a community notification system to alert residents about emergency events and other important public safety information. This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
