NEW Façade Grants Available Now for Opportunity Zone Businesses

UPDATE: Application review process is on hold until early 2026.

The City has launched a Façade Revitalization & Accessibility Grant Program for businesses in opportunity zones (see maps).

The program is designed to encourage revitalization by means of private investment through renovations and quality improvements in the visual appearance of building façades and to improve accessibility to commercial structures.

Approximately $100,000 in funding available for façade grants for the 2025 grant year. This program offers up to $15,000 per business toward approved project costs. Multiple improvements may be made under a single grant request.

Only business properties located within the Davis Opportunity Zone area will be considered. Fund awards are first-come, first-served and must be awarded by June 30, 2025. Two Q & A sessions will be offered in early June (schedule to come).
