Tree Permit Appeal Board

PURPOSE/FUNCTION

Act as a decision-making body for:
  • Appeals of administrative decisions related to city tree permits.
  • Appeals of administrative decisions related to private/protected tree permits.
  • The removal of a landmark tree designation.

 

COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP

Structure: The Tree Permit Appeal Board consists of the City Manager, Community Development Director, or their designees, and a certified, non-city arborist. Specific expertise represented shall include planning, property rights and tree health.
