Meeting Calendar

The City Council adopts a legislative calendar by resolution on an annual basis. "On Call" dates may be changed to a "Regular Meeting" upon the request of the City Council. "Special Meeting" dates may be scheduled on an as-needed basis. Discussion of the Long Range Calendar takes place at each City Council meeting and is found under the agenda materials with each City Council meeting under City Council Agendas. Agenda items and dates listed in the Meeting Schedule are tentative only, and are subject to change.

Regular Meeting Time & Place

The Davis City Council holds regular meetings beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Most commonly, meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. The City Council meeting schedule is subject to change.

The Davis City Council meets in the Community Chambers at City Hall, 23 Russell Boulevard (corner of Russell Blvd. and B St.).

Agenda Materials

City Council Agendas and meeting materials are posted in accordance with state requirements. Per the Brown Act, regular meeting materials are posted at least 72 hours in advance and special meeting materials at least 24 hours in advance. City Council meetings are televised live on City of Davis Government Channel (Comcast Channel 21, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 - scroll to select "Davis Community Channels" and then select the City Government Channel).

City Council meetings are replayed following the meeting on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., Thursday at 7:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., & 7:00 p.m., and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. 

Other Meetings

In addition to regular meetings of the City Council, council members serve as liaisons to City commissions, committees, and task forces, meet regularly with other local government agencies, and serve as board members of regional governmental organizations.
