Process Tasks for July
Stakeholder engagement continues on the Draft Land Use Concepts through focus group meetings to obtain input from industrial and commercial property owners, business owners, and others throughout the City.
The City’s consultant and Staff are concurrently working on the Draft Preferred Land Use Alternative; the upcoming General Plan Committee meeting on July 22 is to discuss and receive feedback on the Draft Preferred Alternative. This Draft Preferred Alternative is the compilation and synthesis of all of the feedback from Commissionapalooza #2, Public Workshop #2, Survey #2, and the other stakeholder input.
Process Tasks August through October
If needed, the General Plan Committee could meet for a second time before Fall, as scheduling allows, and is expected to meet again in the Fall. The Draft Preferred Land Use Alternative will be presented to the public and feedback obtained with Workshop #3, Survey #3, and other outreach. The Planning Commission and the City Council will each receive a presentation on the Preferred Land Use Alternative.
