The Natalie’s Corner splash pad is going well! For those who have peeked through the fence, you may have noticed that many components have already been installed. However, what you can’t see are the many items the City of Davis still needs to complete before the grand opening—including important safety checks, operations training and testing. 

The following list (in no particular order) are tasks that still need to occur. We’ll update the community as items are completed and once a grand opening date has been set. The City is committed to ensuring that everything is running smoothly and securely before the splash pad is opened. 

• Remaining electrical and mechanical installation
• Safety inspections
• Equipment testing
• Signage installation
• City of Davis Building signoff
• City of Davis Parks signoff
• City of Davis Public Works signoff
• Yolo County permitting
• Staff training
• Plant establishment period
• Column art installation
• Final inspection of space
