Post Date:September 05, 2024 10:40 amThe City of Davis, in association with UC Davis, the Associated Students of UC Davis (ASUCD) and Yolo County, invites the public to attend the 18th Annual Davis Neighbors’ Night Out on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024.
Davis Neighbors’ Night Out is a yearly celebration of community and camaraderie that encourages neighbors to get to know one another, as connected neighborhoods create safer and more caring places to live. This event is held in October to include new and returning UC Davis students in neighborhood festivities. In 2023, over 130 neighborhood events were held all over Davis. Events included potlucks for dinner, appetizers or dessert, neighborhood games and activities and gatherings of neighbors to meet in the street for good conversation.
“Davis Neighbors’ Night Out is an opportunity for new neighbors to meet each other and to create community within neighborhoods,” said Davis Mayor Josh Chapman. “We are appreciative of our ongoing partnership with ASUCD and UC Davis and to our new partner Yolo County in helping to make this event a continued success. Thank you to the community for hosting all the neighborhood events.”
