Temporary Use Permit, November 30, 2019 - March 15, 2020 - Interfaith Rotating Winter Shelter, 630 Hawthorn Lane, St. Martin's Episcopal Church
This notice is to inform you that each year the Interfaith Rotating Winter Shelter (IRWS) participates in efforts to house homeless individuals at various inter-faith congregations during the winter, including provision of an “intake center.” The purpose of the intake center is to assess individuals prior to their transfer from the intake site to various congregations throughout the City for overnight shelter during the cold winter months. Last year the City has approved a Temporary Use Permit to allow temporary use of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church located at 640 Hawthorn Lane to serve as the intake center for the program. On November 21, 2019, the City approved Temporary Use Permit #2-19 to allow the site to again serve as the program’s intake center. The intake center will operate daily from December 1, 2019 to March 15, 2020. Pre-registration will take place for one day on November 30, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
