Free Waste Bins and Labels for Davis Businesses

State and local laws require businesses to provide recycling and organic waste bins for employees, contractors and customers. To assist Davis businesses in meeting these requirements, the City is offering free bins and labels. Please use the form below to request supplies. Businesses may receive no more than 4 bins of the same type (example: 4 trash bins, 4 paper recycling bins, 4 organics bins, etc.) and no more than 10 of each type of label. Businesses that have already received the maximum amount of supplies in previous years are not eligible to receive more at this time. 

These supplies are available to any business physically located within Davis on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Additional supplies are available to businesses after scheduling a free waste audit with Recology Davis. To request a waste audit, contact Recology at 530-756-4646 or RecologyDavis@Recology.com.

After submitting this form to request supplies, City Recycling Program staff will contact applicants to schedule an appointment to pick up the supplies. All supplies will be available for pick up by appointment at the Public Works Corporation Yard at 1717 5th Street, Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Access to the corporation yard is by appointment only.
