Promote your business as environmentally friendly!

If you would like to promote yourself as an environmentally friendly business, you can request a free battery box from the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC).  RBRC is a non-profit, public service organization created to promote the recycling of portable rechargeable batteries and cellular phones.  Requesting a battery box from RBRC is fast and easy - just go to their website www.call2recycle.org and sign up for a free rechargeable battery and cell phone recycling box.  The RBRC box is small and comes with a prepaid shipping label.  You can set the box near your front desk for your customers to bring in their old cell phones and rechargeable batteries.  Once the box is full, seal it, place the prepaid shipping label on the box, ship it off to RBRC, and they will send you another empty box.  This program is completely free and offers a safe way to recycle batteries and cell phones, which as of this past February are illegal to throw away in the trash.  All businesses that have a RBRC box are listed on the RBRC website, so you will get free advertising.
