Free Wireless Internet
The Senior Center has free wireless Internet capability which can accommodate anyone with a WiFi-enabled laptop or PDA. Laptop users can connect through the City of Davis - "Guest" access point. Using wireless network software on your laptop, find the "Guest" connection and connect automatically. Wireless IP and DNS addressing should be set to DHCP. Once connected you will have web and email access.
Personalized Computer Tutoring

One of the more popular services offered at the Davis Senior Center is our personalized computer tutorial program which is conducted by UC Davis student volunteers. Whether you wish to set up an e-mail account, learn to surf the Web, or simply perfect your ability to generate letters and documents, our computer tutors can surely help. This program is ideal for those who may be just venturing into the realm of computers, and would like that little bit of extra attention before registering for a larger group class.
Internet Users Group
2nd Monday of each month, 7:00 p.m.

Designed as an open discussion group of computer users, this is an ideal setting to ask questions and gain practical "how to" advice from others. Monthly discussion topics are featured. Meetings are held at the Davis Senior Center and/or the City Computer Lab, 600 A Street, depending on topic.
Mac Users Group
2nd Tuesday of month, 6:30 p.m.

The Mac Users discussion group can assist you with learning about the latest technology and gaining advice from others in the community.
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) and the Davis Senior Center Present...

Each quarter, the Davis Senior Center joins with OLLI, part of UC Davis Extension, in presenting a special guest lecturer for that quarter's convocation of classes. Celebrated authors, Pulitzer Prize winners, and researchers on the cutting edge of their field have figured among recent speakers.
