CDBG & HOME Grant Programs

The City of Davis is an entitlement city in its twenty-third year of participation in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.  During this time, nearly $22 million has been awarded to the City through the CDBG program. In addtion, the City of Davis is also an entitlement city in its twelfth year of participation in the HUD HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.  During this time, nearly $8.5 million has been awarded to the City through the HOME program.

These grant funds have assisted very-low, low and moderate-income persons/households by providing much needed services, housing and facilities.  All requests for funding of social service programs are reviewed by City staff, the Social Services Commission, and finally City Council during the City's annual "Proposal Review" cycle.

This website provides the documents and information necessary for service providers in the Davis community to apply for CDBG and HOME funds.
