Renting Rooms at Third & B
Having trouble finding a place to hold meetings, banquets, dances, or most any other function? Please consider space at Third & B, the Davis Teen Center. As a City facility, Third & B is open to the public for rental. Many UC Davis and community groups have rented Third & B space in the past for dances, award ceremonies, all-you-can-eat fund-raisers, concerts, negotiations, church services, and group meetings. We have accommodated groups as small as 5 people and as large as 225. Here is information on the available rooms at Third & B:
BASEMENT
The basement room holds up to 250 people. It can be filled with over 150 chairs and 19 tables, already in storage at Third & B, or left empty for functions like dances and concerts. It also comes with a portable stage and theater lights. Its versatility has made it accessible to events ranging from dances to church services.
LOUNGE/STUDY
The lounge is a smaller room that can accommodate up to 50 people. It is ideal for meetings, seminars, and other events where comfort, not space, is a priority. Note: The lounge and conference room can be rented together for a reduced rate.
CONFERENCE ROOM
The conference room accommodates 12 to15 people, and is perfect for small meetings. It is complimented with a large table, comfortable chairs, and a dry-erase board. Note: The lounge and conference room can be rented together for a reduced rate.
GAME ROOM
The Game Room accommodates up to 40 people, and comes with 2 pool tables, an air hockey table, a ping-pong table, foosball, and a large screen TV. It is a perfect room for a birthday party, social gathering, or group meeting.
All of these rooms can be furnished with tables and chairs, a television and VCR, or an easel, all included in the rental fee.
The facility meets Americans with Disabilities Act standards for physical access.
Availability subject to limitation due to scheduled acitivities and programs.
