It’s not such a small world once you graduate from elementary school! Third and B is hosting its annual 6th Grade BBQ & Party for graduating elementary students on Thursday June 12, 2008 at the Third & B Teen Center, located next to Central Park. Discover how big Davis can really be as we celebrate the Olympics and our planet’s diversity with decorations, costumes, music, and activities from around the world.
The BBQ, 4:30 - 6:00 p.m., costs $6 for each person and is open to graduates, their families, and friends. The Party, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. will consist of music, dancing, games, pool, air hockey, ping pong, and more! The Party portion is open to 6th Grade graduates only and costs $7. This is your chance to meet and greet all of the great Third and B Teen Center staff.
Parents, come tour the Teen Center and find out more about our upcoming field trips, drop in activities and dances. Bring your questions and be ready to share your cultural heritage with your future 7th grader during the BBQ.
BBQ tickets are sold in advance at the Community Services Department, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The BBQ includes a hot dog, chips, and a drink. Vegetarian options are available. Limited BBQ tickets will be available for sale at the event. Wristbands for the Party will be sold during the BBQ (upon completion of a basic medical form).
