Council Direction:
At their February 6, 2007 meeting, the City Council directed staff to proceed with releasing a Request for Qualifications on the Woodbridge Land Dedication Site.
View staff report
This is a unique land dedication project in that the City Council has already stated its desire to see fully-accessible, affordable ownership housing on this site. The affordability requirements blended with the accessibility goals will require a creative approach to the management of this project’s design and construction. The City is looking for a developer or project manager for this site who would be able to provide affordability and accessibility while providing adequate parking in the project, a good transition between the project and the surrounding public open space areas, incorporation of green concepts, and quality project design. At this point in the process, the City is not reviewing proposals for this site, but qualifications of interested individuals and organizations only.
