Wuxi, China
Located in the central Yangtze River Delta on the southeast coast of China. The Delta is both natural and man-made place of interest. The total population estimates around 4.32 million. Wuxi is nationally known as “Little Shanghai.” Wuxi is very agricultural and known for the mulberry trees and silk production. Like Davis, Wuxi is a very bicycle and educationally friendly community. Because of Wuxi’s location on the Grand Canal it has become one of China’s renowned tourist cities and brings in approximately 10 million visitors annually. Wuxi has also become famous for its Wuxi-style spareribs.
