Proposed Mixed Use Zoning Amendments

Project Summary

The City of Davis is seeking to amend Article 40.15 of the City of Davis Municipal Code which refers to the Mixed Use (M-U) Zoning District. The purpose of the proposed amendments is to further clarify development standards and to provide consistency between the zoning ordinance and the Davis Downtown and Traditional Neighborhoods Design Guidelines.

Proposed amendments include changes to conditional uses, open space, setbacks, lot coverage and residential use requirements, as well as the creation of additional sub-area in addition to the existing Main Street Scale and Residential Scale sub-areas.
